Aguilas - a nature trail

Águilas, situated in the south-east of Spain on the shores of the Mediterranean, stands in a geographically privileged spot, in a rich and uncontaminated environment.

Its beautiful coastline stretches for twenty-eight kilometres, along which we find sandy beaches vying shoulder to shoulder with rocky coves. On the sea-bed there is flora and fauna to be seen which is unequalled for its interest and beauty. We enjoy an exceptional microclimate with over 3,200 hours of sunshine each year, giving an average temperature of 25.2ºC on land. The temperature of the sea-water ranges between 15ºC and 17ºC all year round, making it possible to take part in all kinds of water or underwater sports at any time. All this, together with many other out-door activities to entice the sportsman, such as mountaineering or walking in the rugged surroundings, makes it the perfect place to relax even in the winter-time.
